Contributed, not scraped
A figure enters the Index only when the organisation it belongs to submits it and grants the benchmark-contribution consent for it. Nothing is inferred from your assessment, your roadmap or your requirements.
Vector Index is where operating measures for India capability centres will be published: what a cohort of comparable centres actually reports, with the definition, the period and the number of contributors alongside it. This page is the method. The data does not exist yet.
No cohort has been published yet
Cohorts appear here once enough organisations have contributed comparable figures for one to be reported without identifying any of them. Until then this shell stays empty on purpose.
Vector Assess scores your readiness against a published rulebook and shows you the reasoning for every point. That is a score against a rule, not a comparison with anyone else, and the result page says so.
A figure enters the Index only when the organisation it belongs to submits it and grants the benchmark-contribution consent for it. Nothing is inferred from your assessment, your roadmap or your requirements.
A measure is only published for a cohort — a city, a sector, a seat band, a function — once it has a written definition, one unit and one period. Two organisations counting a seat differently do not make a benchmark.
No cohort is published until enough distinct organisations have contributed to it that no single contributor can be identified from the result, and until the contributions span more than one period. Below the floor the cohort stays empty and says so.
Where a cohort clears the floor, the Index will publish a range and the number of contributors behind it. A single figure with no spread and no count is a claim, not a benchmark.
Every published measure carries the period it covers and the date it was last collected. A measure that is not re-collected goes stale on the page rather than quietly ageing.
Withdrawing benchmark-contribution consent removes your figures from the next computation. If that takes a cohort below the floor, the cohort goes back to empty.
Contribution is not open yet. When it opens it will work like this, and the consent it depends on already exists in the platform as a first-class, withdrawable record.
If you run a centre and want to help define the first cohorts — the measures, the definitions and the floor — write to support@gccvector.in. Shaping the definitions is more useful to us right now than a figure is.
Companies make nine-figure commitments on this evidence. A number with no cohort behind it looks exactly like a number with one, and by the time anybody finds out it was neither, the decision has been made. Our handling of consent and withdrawal is on the privacy page; how we keep ranking and verification apart from money is on the neutrality page.
